Micro-Needling
What is Micro-needling?
Micro-needling is a procedure that uses tiny needles placed in an automated pen to puncture the very first layer of skin.

There are three different types of micro-needling.
What is Micro-needling?
The traditional Microneedling refers to the process of creating tiny micro-injuries to the skin you wish to treat, using a special device with many small needles that quickly make punctures throughout the skin. The purpose of this is to signal the body that healing must begin, which it does by producing new collagen and sending it to the area. Since collagen is one of the major substances responsible for keeping skin supple, tight, and youthful, this serves to allow the skin to heal in a more youthful, even-textured way.

Micro-needling with PRP
This therapy is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatment. It is a combination of two procedures, Micro-Needling and PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) done consecutively.
This procedure is different from fillers and botox in that it's a stimulator of tissue. Botox slows a muscle so that it doesn't move and therefore there is no wrinkling of the skin. Fillers provide immediate volume restoration by filling in wrinkles, folds, and depressions. PRP stimulates new tissue growth and boosts existing tissue because it contains highly concentrated amounts of natural growth factors and other cytokines that promote the regeneration process of soft tissues.
The PRP is applied directly to the channels that were created from the micro-needling to further stimulate the natural healing process and creation of collagen. It can be performed either on the face or body, and is suitable for all skin types.
